No – in order to give you the most accurate quote for a job the roofer will contact you directly.

Who are my details sent to?
Only approved roofers who work in your area, picked by our team will receive your details.

How many roofers will contact me to quote?
A maximum of 5 roofers will quote. We don’t supply  your details to any more than this – so that you’re not swamped with calls. You will be advised by e-mail within 6 days if we have been unable to find any roofers to respond to your request.

How will I be contacted?
Usually by phone, this is why we cannot process requests without a phone number. Some roofers make an initial contact by e-mail before phoning you or arranging an appointment.

Will the roofer visit to give me a quote?
As a rule – yes. However, it is down to the individual and the nature of the job.

What will it cost me to waterproof my flat roof? 
Labour aside, the price of the above materials differs from place to place. Felt can be bought fairly cheap, with roofing felt costing around £9 per square metre. Fibreglass works out slightly more expensive at £11 per square metre. Finally, EPDM works out as the most expensive material you could choose, with prices around £18 per square metre.

What Roofing Problems Should I Look Out For? 
When inspecting your roof, look out for:
  • Holes
  • Cracked, broken or missing roof tiles
  • Damage to fascias and soffits
  • Water pooling on the surface of the roof, breaks in the joins or roofing materials or bare patches (specific to flat roofs)
  • The condition of the chimney; make sure it isn’t leaning to one side and that brickwork hasn’t crumbled. This is especially important if you have a working fireplace.
  • Any moss or grass growing in the roof or in gutters or pipes
  • Signs of vermin such as birds or squirrels

  • From the inside of the roof check that wooden joists aren’t rotten or damaged by insects.
